"This Night" - Current Info About the Scrapbook Volume 1

     Hello again! Welcome to the first edition of "This Night." Basically, what

"This Night" is is information about "And So It Goes"- The Billy Joel

Scrapbook. I plan to update this information as the need dictates. I

basically want to describe what is currently available in the scrapbook and

what will be coming.

     In the main folder you will find "Welcome To The Show." This is just a

welcome file and invites users to contribute to this scrapbook. (Thanks goes

out to CAD MOUSE for contributing that awesome graphic of the keyboard in the

sky!) "This Night" is what you are reading now. Current up-to-date

information about the progress of this scrapbook. Basically, "Welcome To the

Show" will always stay the same, while "This Night" will be changed

periodically to keep you up-to-date about changes in the scrap book.

You will also find the Billy Joel FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) file in

the main folder. Mike Steele, the editor of the FAQ has been kind enough to

allow me to post the file in this scrap book. Thanks a lot, Mike! I really

appreciate it! This file is the ultimate source of information on Billy

Joel. It contains a discography, biography, Internet resources for finding

information, history of the band, and so much more. This file contains all of

the information that you could possibly want to know about Billy Joel. Thanks

again, Mike! Great Job!

     Then there will be two folders. "Polls and Contests", and "A Room Of Our

Own." First I'll tell you about "Polls and Contests." One of the things

that I plan is to have is one ongoing poll. I have already conducted this

poll before, but I will have the questionnaire posted on a continuing basis,

and periodically post the results. I will just continue to add on new

responses that I get and post an updated result sheet periodically. Other

items which I wish to have in "Polls And Contests" is one opinion poll that

changes every 2 weeks. Fans may respond to the poll by e-mailing their votes

to: BJoelScrap. The results of the previous poll will also be posted. And

finally, I plan to have some type of trivia contest that will also be

conducted through e-mail. What do you win? How about personal satisfaction

and your name posted in my scrapbook?

      Now for the major area of the scrapbook: "A Room Of Our Own." This is the

main area! All stories, poems, photos, artwork, reviews, and other

information that I receive will be posted here. As of now, there will be one

folder for artwork by: "ASH of FX Men in Jupiter." This guy has made some

truly beautiful and amazing scenic pictures inspired by Billy's music. You

may want to turn on the songs "Goodnight Saigon", "The Downeaster 'Alexa'",

"Pressure", and "Storm Front" while viewing these pictures. They are really

cool! Thanks again "ASH of FX Men in Jupiter" I also want to have a section

for concerts. In "Concerts", photos taken by us can be displayed. As of now,

I am planning of folder for pictures taken by myself at The Nassau Coliseum

back in January of 1994. I also would like to have some information and

reviews of The Face To Face Tour with Elton John. I have written up an

article about the tour, but I am looking for lots more articles and photos

taken by you guys! So send me some stuff!

     As you can see, as of now, our grand opening, the scrapbook is off to good

start to becoming an excellent place for Billy Joel fans. But we still have

a lot to go. I would like your suggestions and opinions about this

scrapbook. Remember, its your scrapbook too! Don't hesitate to write. I'd
