There have been rumors circulating around the Billy Joel newsgroup and mailing list that Greatest Hits III will be Billy's next album. There have also been reports that several stores have the album listed in "Upcoming Releases." Furthermore, "insiders" claim that the album is definately being made. Reports claim that there may be one or two new songs or cover songs. However, I must emphasize that none of this information has been confirmed. Will it happen? Only time will tell. Supposedly, the album will be released some time in 1996.
