The following is from the Cafe Carpe website: "Many of you have been expressing concerns about our condition, what with being on the river and all.  Our land is high enough that we are fine so far (6/19/2008), but many in and out of town are not.  Many roads near and far are closed because of the flooding, so check out the Jefferson County website  www.co.jefferson.wi.us/jc/public/jchome.php for pertinent information.  Donations to the American Red Cross - www.redcross.org - are needed for flood relief efforts.
