Jason Weisman plays the saxophones in the Auto Body Experience. (I’m not sure why “saxophones” is plural, Jason only plays one at a time. Unless he’s wearing his sunglasses, people rarely confuse him with Rahsaan Roland Kirk.)
Jason is a Berklee grad (that’s the music school in Boston, where everyone goes and almost no one graduates, and not the California school where Patty Hearst got her assult rifle).
While not playing in the Auto Body Experience, which, frankly, is most of the time, Jason plays with several really good groups in the Twin Cities area, including Steeling Dan (with ABE alumn Mike Dripps) and Terramara (which sometimes includes ABE bassist Tom Larson). Jason is perhaps best known as the brother of Joe Weismann of the accalimed group the Smarts.
