Creek. 1785 David Tyree of Prince Edward Co.: 8 whtes. 1788 Daniel Tyree is a witness for David Tyree in Prince Edward County. 1790 Daniel Tyree of Cumberland county 1793 Daniel Tyree takes a grant in Prince Edward for himself. 1799 Daniel Tyree and Sallie sell 207A in Prince Edward County. 1809 Daniel Tyree has Power of Atty. to sell 100A in Smith County, Tenn. 1830 Daniel Tyree m. Mary Houston, Green Co., Tenn.David Tyree of the old Hanover family moved west c. 1783 when he, now "of Powhatan", bought 250A at Ft. Creek. At the last David will be found as "Rev." (does this mean Rev. War?) David Tyree, whose will of 1823 Cumberland County was filed 1826.
In 1813 Cumberland County, David Tyree petitioned for his Revolutionary pension: "David Tyree Sr., wounded in the leg at Guilford Court House battle; now old, little property, big family".
