1706 (from Earliest Tyree Immigrants chapter) George Tyrer of Ulfall, Cumberland County took an immigrant servant, Robert Dixon.
In 1788 Daniel Tyree of CUMBERLAND COUNTY was witness to a recording by David Tyree. In 1790 Daniel Tyree paid Cumberland County tax. In 1793 same Daniel Tyree took land grant in Prince Edward County. In 1799, Daniel and Sally Tyree sell 207A in Prince Edwards County. In 1809 Daniel Tyree has power of attorney to sell 100A in Smith County, Tennessee. In 1830 some Daniel Tyree married Mary Houston, Green Co., Tenn.
David Tyree purchases estate of Edmond Toney from John and Edmond Toney, Exec. March 1802; he gave 464 pounds. Wiliam Davenport lived next door.

The will also left $1 to a Satterwhite Tyree and money was given to an Edmond Toney and another David Tyree. The estate was valued at $3,861.25.

Rhoda Oakley sells land in Cumberland Co., Va. Lists children Emily Tyree, Martha Tyree, Jno. Tyree (name listed as John in deed index) and Marcus E. Miles (these were children and grandchildren of Elizabeth Tyree, formerly Elizabeth Oakley) 10-8-1832. She also mentions a military warrant #6760 of Erasmus Oakley.

Thomas T. Tyree and ward Abner C. Tyree appoint William T. Ballow with Power of Attorney 1-21-1838. Later in 1838 Abner C. Tyree and guardian Thomas T. Tyree sold land to Wm. T. Ballow in Powhatan Co. (this was land they inherited from David Tyree and they were then in Smith Co. Tenn.).
