Rob and Judy Siirila arrived in Taipei in 1984 and have been there ever since. They both speak and read Mandarin Chinese. Rob serves at Fountain of Grace Church and teaches at the Bible Institute and Seminary. Judy likes making Chinese food (recipe), as well as being an English tutor. Their children, Aaron and Robin, are attending a high school on island.

Kevin and Sarah Stellick arrived in Taichung in 1993. They are also Mandarin speakers. They are starting a church, using their home as a base. Sarah teaches a number of ladies classes. Their daughter, Hannah, is attending a local grade school. All her classes are in Chinese! Listen to Hannah sing Jesus Loves Me in Chinese.

Pete and Tammy Leyrer arrived in Taipei in 1996 and have been busily studying Chinese. Peter is now preaching in Chinese, and leading an English Bible class. Tammy meets with a ladies group. Their three oldest children, Andy, Liana, and Olivia are in an English grade school, and Emily attends a Chinese pre-school.

Allen and Chanda Schleusener  arrived in Taichung in 1999 and are volunteers in a pilot project called English as Outreach. They are setting up and teaching English classes as a bridge for sharing the gospel. They are being supported by WELS Kingdom Workers.
