Organic Robot is a simple hands-on classroom presentation that lets students design, program and build simple robots in the classroom. The presentation can be performed without tools or expensive robot kits. The Organic Robot was originally developed for amateur robotics hobbyist to use to teach robotics to gifted elementary school students. The March 2001 Issue of Circuit Cellar magazine included a feature article describing the Organic Robot presentation in detail. You can download a copy of my draft of the article below. The Power Point presentation I use for demonstrating how to do the presentation can also be downloaded below.
