The following is a former winner of the Amazing but Incredibly True Story Contest.
This June I had a friend of mine visiting from Texas. I had recently moved to Charlotte, NC, and now live out in the country. The energy in this place is very mystical, full of celtic vibes and fairie lights. We decided one night to rent a movie, and picked "Fairy Tale," a movie about the true story of two little girls in Victorian England who captured pictures of Faieries on film, which later were published in a book endorsed by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Since we both believe in the world of the unseen, we were captivated by the tale, and decided to go out into my backyard and talk to the faieries. We proceeded to introduce ourselves, and asked their permission to know if they were there. We didn't get any "response" that night, so we went to bed. The next morning, my friend Ken got up earlier than I and was out on the deck having coffee when I awakened.
"Did you put a crystal grid around the house?" he asked.
"No," I replied, "Why?"
"Well," he said, "There is a crystal under the deck sticking up from the ground, and I didn't want to disturb it if you had put it there."
"No, I didn't." I replied. "Why don't you ask permission from the nature spirits to see if we can take it out of the ground?" I had three other of similar type that I had found in Sedona, Arizona, and Sulphur Springs, Arkansas a year before.
Well, he meditated for a minute, and decided he had gotten a "yes", and he dug it up. We "cleansed" it in salt water, and then let it lay in the sun the rest of the day. I also decided to get the other three crystals out and put them on the railing of the deck as well.
The next morning I got up first, and as usual went out on the deck with my coffee. When I looked down at the steps leading up to the deck, I noticed another large crystal sitting on the second step from the bottom.
"Well," I thought to myself, "Ken must have found another crystal earlier this morning, and then gone back to bed." But I couldn't figure out how he would have, because I got up just as dawn was breaking, and it had been dark. Despite this, I really didn't think anything more about it.
When Ken got up about an hour later, I asked him about the crystal.
"What crystal?" he asked.
"The one on the step outside," I replied.
"No," he said, "I was up earlier this morning, and saw it, and thought you had found it and put it there."
We both looked at each other, then, as I went down the stairs to pick up the crystal, we both "saw" a flash of light, and knew it was the faieries telling us they were there. They had given us a gift.
Today I have all five crystals lined up on the rail on my deck, and see the faiery lights on a regular basis.
