About the Path of the Personal Divine
The Path of the Personal Divine is a process of spiritual growth. It is a road open to any believer on their journey of faith. It can be a religion in its own right, a mystical path, and a road where followers of all faiths may find common ground.
Path of the Personal Divine Ministries is a broad-based, multitraditional, pagan (life-affirming) church located in Lexington, Kentucky. The group was founded in 1995 and legally incorporated in 1997. It has attracted attention from people as far away as Germany!
PPD is founded on the beliefs that: all things, people, and places are sacred (or "made in the image of God"); all religious systems are formed by individual perspectives and therefore contain some truth -- from a certain point of view; and that we each can find our spiritual answers within us (hence, "personal Divine" -- the Divine within). We believe that no one religion has a monopoly on truth, but that all paths can lead to our spiritual goals.
We believe in the sacredness of all things, and the validity of all religious paths. Our goal is harmony --- all things working together for the greater good.
