The Webb Family has been raising Alpine Dairy Goats since 1989 that are Proven Producers in the milk parlour and Exceptional Performers in the show ring. After 10 years of selecting animals that have met our highest quality standards for production, confirmation, and temperament; we are very proud of the animals that make up our herd.
ALPINE DAIRY GOATS Our breeding program is heavily linebred on Sodium Oaks Xspurt, (Pictured in the background) who we think was one of the greatest Alpine Sires to ever live, and two of our outstanding does, GCH Dawn's Delite Mirage (Redwood Hills breeding) and Heritage Farm Eclipse (two legs).
In the show ring, our animals have excelled. We have not shown in the last two years, because of our commitment to our Boer herd, and to simply take a break. We did show at one ADGA sanctioned show in August that had over 40 Alpine milkers and 50 kids. One of our does finished her championship, and another doe sired by one of our bucks earned a championship leg as well. For the four shows, Our animals won 2 Championships, 3 Reserve Championships, and the doe sired by one of our bucks won another Championship.
While we are not on DHIR test, all of our does that we have raised have easily qualified for advanced registery when either sold and put on test, or when they have participate at a special one day test, which is actually harder to accomplish.
