Purebred Boer Goat Prices

For simplicity, we have divided the United States and Canada into regions; and we have divided the quality of the purebred animals into standard, elite (younger stock), and enobled (older stock). There are two basic reasons for any price differentials, 1) difference in quality, and 2) difference in location. The price you chose to sell or buy animals at, should take these two factors into consideration. We hope you find the information useful and your marketing and purchasing efforts. Before you jump to the goat price tables and graphs for purebred Boer's, you might consider viewing the article What is a Boer Buck Worth?

Slaughter Meat Goats

Market goats are sold by the head and by the pound. In the slaughter goat data we have supplied estimated price per pound when an animal is sold by the head, and it is indicated with an askerisk(*) in front of the value.
