There are probably less than 100 registered motor vehicles on the remote territory of Easter Island, also known as Isla de Pascua. Vehicles were not required to have plates until 1979 or 1980, and today, they display standard Chilean plates, with the ISLA DE PASCUA legend across the bottom.
