Shearn Moody Plaza

Galveston's legacy to the importance of the railroad during the late 19th and early 20th century, Shearn Moody Plaza once housed the headquarters for the Santa Fe Railroad along with the Galveston Train Station.  It now houses the Railroad Museum, the Mexican Consulate, the Port of Galveston Headquarters, and many other important offices. The building on the right is the old Galveston Union State, predecessor to this structure.
