The Lady Victory Statue
Located at the intersection of Broadway and 25th Street (Rosenberg Ave.) Lady Victory was erected , in 1900, to honor those who gave their lives during the Texas Revolution. In her hand she holds a olive branch which points to the San Jacinto Battlefield on the mainland, where Texas won her independence. She was a gift from Henry Rosenberg to Galveston and the State of Texas.
