Star Drugstore

The oldest drugstore in Texas, Star Drugstore was damaged by fire in March of 1998. The building was constructed in 1909 for Kate Scanlan a female investor from Houston. Until the fire, the building was pretty much the same inside, since its last major remodling in 1917 (not renovation, which is different). The owner of the building and store is in the process of restoring it.
