Open Gates

The Sealy Mansion

Constructed in 1891 by George Sealy.  The Sealy Mansion (Open Gates) is located on the corner of 25th and Broadway in Galveston.  It was donated by the Sealy-Smith foundation to the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB) for use as a communications center.
