City National Bank Building

The Galveston County Museum

Housed in the old City National Bank building in downtown Galveston, the Galveston County Museum houses many artifacts of importance and documents Galveston's glory days as one of the largest and wealthiest cities in the United States. Built in 1920, the City National Bank building was given to the Galveston County Historical Society by The Moody Foundation when the Moody's merged their City National Bank into the Moody National Bank.
