The following story is a disturbing, but true. I submit this story to you with the utmost respect and love for the people involved. I feel it is important that I state that clearly before I recite it.
It was summer break during my college years and I was going with a friend of mine to visit a friend of hers in Boston. Her friend's house was fairly near the college all three of us went to, so we stopped at the college (just me and my friend) to pick up an airline voucher she had in storage in the attic of her dormitory.
The campus was empty but as we walked toward her dorm building I had a vision of a giant Raggedy-Anne doll (body-sized) laying dead on the ground in front of her dorm. It had a needle puncturing its arm and an acid trip-like glow around it. It was very disturbing and I closed my eyes to try to make the vision go away, but it wouldn't until a few more seconds had gone by (a long time for such a sight). I was very shaken by this vision and told my friend about it in the car on the way to her friend's house. Her response was "It's a prophecy." I felt like I was going crazy and decided not to drink too much or smoke any pot that night at her friend's house (it was college and although I never did drugs I felt that this must be a warning to not to take them that night).
Her friend was nice and I liked him alot, but he did do drugs. I was very tired and went to sleep somewhat early. My friend and I were staying in his mother's room (she had died a few years before from cancer). As I was going to bed, I went to open a window near a sofa. As I opened the window I saw behind the couch a giant Raggedy-Anne doll, bigger than any I had ever seen. I thought to myself that the vision must have been a message from our host's mother that she was worried about his drug use.
When my friend came to bed later, I showed her the Raggedy-Anne doll to confirm that I was not really going crazy. The next day, I wimpily started to tell my host of my vision, but I felt like a paranoid crazy person and didn't really tell him. We drove home that day and I was shaken up for about a week. It really affected me.
The next semester at school (a few months later), our friend died from a heroin overdose. It was his first time trying the drug. It was particularly strange for it happened at the dorm I saw the vision in front of, which was not the one he lived in. Another strange detail I remember: a few weeks before he died, there were bats in the room he died in, which I believe is a symbol of death. Also, the night that he died, before I knew he had died, I heard a voice asking where my friend was ( the one I had accompanied to visit him the preceding summer).
