It had to be a dream, but what a dream it was. In my mid-teens we lived on a dead end street in a country area which was covered with trees. I have always had trouble sleeping, so sometimes I would climb out of my window to lounge in the turnaround and look at the stars.
One night it was very foggy. The turnaround was clear, but the surrounding trees were lost in the haze. I guess I was daydreaming as I noticed a patch of mist drift nearer. Then I realized it was totally separate, a cloud unto itself. It just kept getting closer, until I really couldn't see much sky anymore. I was about ready to go home, when right in front of me a face emerged from this cloud! It was solid and close enough for me to discern the most beautiful face I'd ever seen. It smiled, then I woke up to the alarm to get up for school and realized I had my shoes on in bed, and my window was still open.
For years I assumed it was a dream, and pretty much forgot about it. Last year I had a baby, and when I saw my little girls face, I recognized her from somewhere. She looks little like my husband or myself. Then I realized it was the face from the "dream!" I had seen my beautiful little Sweetie's face years ago. She had visited me and given me a glimpse into our future.
