Notes
Each lesson is taught afloat, at sea, by a qualified senior sailing instructor. Crews consist of three trainees per boat. Ring 01792 520520 or 07940 700434 for details of availability or email for information by return. Mumbles Sailing School provides sailing suits and life-jackets and has an exemplary safety record.
Lessons are confirmed on a first to pay, first to sail basis during a short and busy sailing season. There is a high demand for lessons, so please make your cheque payable to Mumbles Sailing School and don't forget to enclose your completed Booking Form when applying to secure your lessons. Please post your remittance to Mumbles Sailing School, 74 Woodville Road, Mumbles, Swansea. SA3 4AE. You will receive a telephone call on receipt of your remittance, to confirm your booking. We look forward to you sailing with us and to meeting you at the upturned navy-blue and white Mumbles Sailing School pulling boat stowed on the promenade in front of The George Beefeater Inn, 5 minutes before your lesson is due to begin. We trust this marks the beginning of a very enjoyable and exciting new phase in your life and we will do our best to make it memorable.
If the weather is unsuitable for fitting in a full 16 hours intensive on-the-water sailing course during the week of your booking, a pro-rata refund is available or the opportunity for you to re-book the remainder of your course at a later date. Most Mumbles Sailing School trainees are referred by ex-trainees who wisely started their sailing lives with hands-on sailing on the sea at Mumbles.
