GAME PROPOSAL

The player moves up the pile of cubes as indicated on following pages. Upon leaving a diamond, it disappears, becoming a hole (through which player will fall to death). He dodges or shoots monsters on his plane. Monsters on other 2 planes can't effect him but can intercept shots and switch to his current plane. If cube or diamond(s) is completely isolated by holes 2 possibilities occur:

a. if monsters are isolated point bonus gained

b. if player is isolated he falls to his death

The object is to become "king of the mountain" (w/ scrolling hardware) w/ several layers of pyramids to be conquered. After one configuration is taken care of, Player moves onto another, etc., this could allow for hundreds of game levels.

Basic monsters move only on their plane in 4 standard directions. They would never move onto blacked out diamonds. As games goes on & their nastiness increases they could move in 6 directions.

Without scrolling hardware the player would be running around pyramid wiping out enemies. Upon completion, move to new configuration. Option: Certain diamonds would contain "treasure" to be grabbed for bonus.

A: can jump to indicated diamonds while pressing white button & moving joystick in appropriate direction. Just moving joystick will face him in indicated direction. By pressing white button he can kill White Monster A'

B: can jump same A. However if pressing White Button and moving joystick to upper left, B will jump off pyramid to his death. Can kill White Monster B' by facing that direction & firing but cannot possibly kill A' while both are on same horizontal row of white diamonds

C: can jump (as above) but w/ White Button pressed and joystick pushed to directions lower left or right, will plunge to death. If C fires at A' he will hit Striped Monster who will turn into White Monster

Striped or Spotted Monsters cannot hurt player on White Plane but can intercept Shots, which converts them into White Plane Monsters
