LAUGHLIN, THOMAS J., Command Sergeant, Staff. Mustered September 7, 1861. Promoted to Command Sergeant December 7, 1861. Transferred from Company A to Company G, and then to Staff the same day. Captured in Plymouth, North Carolina April 20, 1864, Andersonville Code unknown. Died November 4, 1864 enroute to Florence, South Carolina.

LAUGHLIN, JOHN M., 1st Lieutenant, Company A. Mustered May 1, 1862 - June 25, 1865. Promoted to 2nd Lieutenant June 12, 1862 and to 1st Lieutenant January 25, 1863. Captured in Plymouth, North Carolina April 20, 1864. Escaped prison, but was recaptured. Eventually left prison March 1, 1865.

LEHMANN, THEODORE F., Colonel, Staff. Born in Germany, attended military academy serving as officer until 1833. Mustered July 1, 1861 - June 25, 1865. Promoted to Colonel October 3, 1861. Transferred from 62nd Pennsylvania Volunteers. Because of being thrown from his hourse during a collision wiht a sutler's wagon, he was not in command during the Battleof Fair Oaks, Seven Pines, Virgina.  During the Battle of Plymouth, North Carolina, he commanded the center of the line around the town.
