I have done genealogy research as a hobby for about forty years, and have published two books on the Thomas Weatherbee and Michael McGowan families. I have done extensive research on George Kezar and his descendants of Massachusetts. Below I have listed some questions that I would like to find answers to. If anyone would be able to help me, I would appreciate it. I would be happy to share any information that I have with others who are interested.

Books

Other Names I am Researching

I have traced our family line back to a Joseph and Mary Hill of Bethlehem, Hunterdon County, New Jersey in 1769. While doing research I have copied information I have found on other Hill families in New Jersey. Joseph descendants may have all moved to western Pennsylvania and some later to Illinois.

I have recently been doing research on the Smith family of Rhode Island and Connecticut.

Ancestory of Joseph and William Hill

I would like to contact anyone who has done research on Joseph and Mary ( ) Hill of Bethlehem, Hunterdon Co., New Jersey. They had four children: Samuel, Mary, Elizabeth, and Jonathan who were baptised on the 9th of April, 1769.

Does anyone have the ancestry of William Hill who married Mary Rittenhouse? In 1790 they resided in Franklin, Fayette Co., PA. They had 11 children.

Ancestory of Elias Smith

I would like information on the ancestory of Elias Smith, born ca. 1815. He was living in Eastford, Windham County, Connecticut in the 1850 census.

Ancestory of Fred McGown

I would like the ancestory of Fred McGown, who married Henrietta Mae McGowan. She was born in 1890 in Weymouth, Nova Scotia. They resided in Lynn, Massachusetts and had five children between 1911 and 1924.
