Arty Labels and Chris White

Chris White, the designer who runs Arty Labels, studied at St Martins School of Art, London, in the early sixties before joining a design studio where he designed and illustrated for advertising and publishing clients such as Mars, Philips, Hitachi and Unilever. After several years at the studio Chris became a freelance illustrator and designer working for numerous publishers and advertisers in the United Kingdom.

Chris White has also appeared in two television series as an artist, and has taught art at a private children's school (he still gives art lessons to children).

After thirty years as an artist, Chris White is still working in London as a practising artist and designer.
